From Memphis, TN to Atlanta, GA, There is a new sound hitting the streets. Rap artists Cochi$e (Co) and Tomorrow (Tmrw) have been working their way to greater heights and are making music for everyone to relate to. Although they embed different qualities as artists, they work well together to produce an undeniable sound. These two are extremely talented. Two songs that they currently have out are "Wanna Be" and " 63rd and Cottage Grove" . With their unique word play, These two will definetly win over the hearts of many music lovers. Because they are from out of state, it is always a good thing to get a feel or an idea of how music is inspired and where they get their inspiration from. With the good work these two have been producing , it won't be long until they make it to the top. Watch out for new music fromTmrw as well and watch out for their clothing line PaintMeGold!
I got a chance to speak with the upcoming rap artist Tmrw:
1. What made you want to pursue a music career?
" I started writing poetry after my father went to prison, so that was an escape. Music became an outlet for me."
2.What are one of your greatest strengths?
" I do not get writer's block. I tell stories to make peopl feel as if they were there with me. Living vicariously through me"
3.How long have you been an artist? What makes you different from every other artist?
" I've been an artist for 15 years now. I dabble in art, I design clothes, and i am video director. I also have a degree."
4. What should everyone expet differently from you this year?
" consistency"
I also got a chance to speak with both artist about the record label:
1. How did you come up with the name for the label?
"Freestyling after school. It became a trend, a movement, and a lifestlye."
2.How diverse do you intend on making the label?
" We are all different as individuals. We choose music that we like so it will be different."
3.What should everyone expect from the label this year?
" Quality, new projects, and a demo from Tmrw."
