CiCi Rose: The Creative Make-Up Artist (FX Make-up)

CiCi Rose is an INCREDIBLY TALENTED make-up artist from Orlando, FL! The girl is dope! CiCi does indeed do make up , but its very rare that you come across a young lady that does special effect make-up. I came across her instagram profile and was shocked beyond belief how creative she was. I was mostly taken back at how good of a job she had done at making things look so realistic and horrific. Perfect for Halloween, I thought. Ms.Rose has clearly done a great job at perfecting her craft from the spooky feel to even a tattoo cover-up that is actually legit. Also, CiCi dabbles in dying hair and does a great job at that too, so it seems as if she is your all-around girl. It is actually very refreshing to see a young lady be a master of many trades and is doing her thing to assure and secure her future. I see great things happening for you CiCi. Continue to be even greater and do your thing because you are your motivation. You will be greatly rewarded.

I even got a chance to speak with the make-up artist to get a bit of background:

1) what influenced your craft? "Well for your first questionwhat influenced my craft is that ive always been kind of obsessed with makeup and horror movies I'm such a dork and kind of weird but,I always wanted to know how they did the things that they did in horror films."

2) how long have you been doing it? " second, i've always experimented with basic makeup on myself and friends for about 8 yearsand with special fx believe it or not I just started last year of august ....crazy right???"

3) what is your greatest strength when it comes to doing special effect makeup? " my greatest strength in special fx is the really gory stuff like anything that involves blood...I'm your girl to get the job done! I try to gross people out as much as I canbut I also do fantasy makeup as well that's pretty fun as well."

4)is it a profession or a hobby ? " is it my profession or hobby id say its both because I love what I do so much its not even like its workmy mom always told me "if you do what you love you'll never have to work"I believe her..."

5) Is there anything that everyone should be expecting from you this year ?

" anything anyone should expect from me this yearis I'm in the works of putting together a youtube channel for both regular and fx makeup tutorialsit will also help people with doing makeup/fx on a budget wheres the best way to shop without breaking your pockets I will also do reviews on my page so they will get my incite on drugstore brand makeup that I likewhich should be a lot of funand this I see in my future I'm claiming it now!to become a makeup artist for the walking dead or join the contestants on the show face/off so you guys just remember me and remember they saw me here on your blog first!!!! lol"
